David Feeney-Mosier served as Director of Photography on the 2024 Academy Award winning short documentary The Last Repair Shop, which was lauded by the LA Times as being “magnificently shot...as gorgeously filmed as any prestige feature”.
In 2025 he was nominated for “Best Cinematography” at the Cannes Lions’ Craft Awards for his work on The Final Copy Ilon Specht.
He recently completed principal photography on a dramatic feature directed by Mayim Bialik, starring Dustin Hoffman and Candice Bergen.
Feeney-Mosier has also worked as 2nd unit DP on Stranger Things: Season 4, and Greta Gerwig’s 2016 film Lady Bird, which was nominated for five Academy Awards.
He also works regularly in commercials, having shot for clients such as: Apple, Adidas, Google, Kia, Nike, Alaska Airlines, and Dropbox, among many others.
Additionally, his cinematography has been on display at the San Francisco MoMA, as part of former Magnum photographer Diana Markosian’s exhibition Santa Barbara. Time magazine named the exhibition’s book in its “Top 20 Photobooks of the Year.”
He has continued collaborating with Markosian on other films within the fine art world, including Father, which is currently on exhibition at the Arles Photo Festival, and won the Prix de la Photo Madame Award.
