David Feeney-Mosier served as Director of Photography on the 2024 Academy Award winning short documentary The Last Repair Shop, which was lauded by the LA Times as being “magnificently shot...as gorgeously filmed as any prestige feature”.
In 2025 he was nominated for “Best Cinematography” at the Cannes Lions’ Craft Awards for his work on The Final Copy Ilon Specht.
His work has taken him to over 25 countries and more than 30 states within the US.
He recently completed principal photography on a dramatic feature directed by Mayim Bialik, starring Dustin Hoffman and Candice Bergen.
David has also worked as 2nd unit DP on Stranger Things: Season 4, and Greta Gerwig’s 2016 film Lady Bird, which was nominated for five Academy Awards.
He also works regularly in commercials, having shot for clients such as: Apple, Adidas, Google, Kia, Nike, Alaska Airlines, and Dropbox, among many others.
Additionally, his cinematography has been on display at the SF MoMA, International Center of Photography in NYC, Foam Amsterdam, Arles Photo Festival, Paris Photo fair, National Portrait Gallery in London, Fotografiska Berlin, as part of his frequent collaborations with former Magnum photographer and artist Diana Markosian.
David is a member of ICG Local 600.
